Does Anyone See Your New Life

Does anyone notice that you and your life are different since you received Jesus? We should be telling others about the difference with our words AND our deeds. We must know that it is possible to deny Him with our deeds and that can offend Him just as much as our words can.

Matthew 10:32-33: Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

1 Peter 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

2 Corinthians 4:10-11: Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus* sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

The above passage takes away any excuse we could have for denying Christ in our deeds. The life of Christ can be and must be noticeable in us, first of all to ourselves and then to others, hopefully many others. My new life has offended many unbelievers, and is probably more offensive to them than my words. They sometimes try to provoke me into offending them in a wrong way. They convince themselves that I have wronged them. One individual that I shared the gospel with more than once asked me: Why do you torment me? That one has been tormented by both my words and my new life. We must be careful not to offend them by sinning in their sight. Then the offense would be our fault and not theirs.

When we become saved we should become better friends, better husbands, better wives, better parents, better children, better employees, better supervisors and better everything else.
